Australia and New Zealand come in top 3 in the World in the latest United Nations Quality of Life report

The recent publication of the UN Human Development index, which rates humanity and the places where we reside, on a number of differing factors, has recently published its results for 2010.
The Daily Mail featured an article on the 5th November stating that the findings of the report have shown the UK slip from 21st to 26th in a year, putting us behind countries which have seen the credit crunch really hit home, like Greece and Spain.

At long last migration to Australia appears to be opening up again. This time the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) have advised who they will accept on their Skilled Migration Plan. Australia is a country made up of States and Territories and they all have differing needs and wants.

Canberra updates “Skills in Demand” (SDL) List

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government has updated its Skills in Demand List. This change will impact business analysts, advertising professionals, and some teachers wishing to immigrate to Australia under the state/territory sponsored program.
The SDL is split into 2 sections, the baseline and the Quota lists. People applying for state or territory sponsorship under a Baseline Occupation may lodge their Australian visa application as long as intake for that occupation is open.
